Sales and Processing and Trading of Copper and Brass Products

One of the principal activities of the Group is the processing and trading of copper and brass products. Shougang Century, taking advantage of the Group's strong distribution network in the Pearl River Delta Region and the superior geographic conditions of Hong Kong, has been actively building up its Import/Export trading business. Its principal subsidiary, Hing Cheong Metals (China & Hong Kong) Limited ("Hing Cheong Metals") is engaged in the retailing of copper products and wholesaling of copper raw materials. In addition, Dongguan Xingtong Metal Ltd ("Donggnan Xingtong") has been established in Guangdong Province, PRC to focus on domestic sales. Both Hing Cheong Metals and Dongguan Xingtong serve customers in the PRC, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South East Asia for copper products processing and retail sales, as well as copper Import/Export trading and distribution. The Group has a well-established operation in this business and has enjoyed a leading market position by virtue of providing stable quality, a comprehensive product range and excellent service.
